As a result, Korean pilots have lost their abilities to negotiate salaries, protect worker’s right, and their marketability in the airline industry. Asiana Airlines denied labor union members access to gaining documents and information regarding the business practice of the company. Moreover, Asiana Airlines did not allow labor union members to receive paid vacations, which violated the Workplace Rights.
